About Jill
I am a high school English Teacher in New York City and a graduate student at Teachers College, Columbia University where I'm pursuing my graduate degree in English Education. I have worked with students consistently for the last eight years.
I graduated with honors from NYU Steinhardt, where I majored in English Education with minors in Creative Writing and Urban Education Studies. I was conferred the Excellence in English Education award, Departmental Honors, Latin honors, and the Founders Day Award.
In November, I will be presenting on two panels at the National Council of Teachers of English Conference.
