About Cora
I have once been in a situation where learning felt hard, and useless. It wasn't until I found a learning method and an amazing tutor to help me with those bad feelings! As your tutor it is my job and goal to make sure I am providing a well put together tutoring session that works best for you. Starting a new journey with a total stranger can be tricky, however let's do our best to make that easier! We can work together to create the learning time into something you look forward to during your week!

While tutoring your child, it is important to make sure the learning style is fit to them. Every child learns differently and it's good to make sure they are not only learning but comfortable with how they're being taught. A typical lesson plan that I start off with is a check-in on how their day/week has been and having a 5-minute conversation to get a positive mood set in stone for the child to get them in a mental space that is ready to proceed with learning. After that we shall go into the agenda on which subjects we will be focusing on for the day, and set a plan on how to get each of them done. This lesson plan helps your kiddo know there is a routine set in place, and make them feel heard as well as productive with their time. I range in the work of elementary-middle school children!
