About Haneen
I have been in advanced classes since kindergarten. I went from taking ESOL straight into complex subjects. I am committed to providing a supportive learning environment. I take the most advanced courses each year, so I understand what it takes to excel. I also tutor for math and currently have two students through this website.

My Approach as a Tutor
Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching style is all about making reading, writing, and grammar fun and easy for young children. I use stories, games, and colorful visuals to keep kids interested and excited to learn. I adapt my lessons to match each child's learning style—whether they like to listen, see pictures, move around, or work with their hands. I encourage lots of participation, praise effort, and give gentle feedback to help build confidence and understanding.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
1. Warm-up/Review: Start with a fun activity, such as a short story, rhyming game, or letter sound review to get kids engaged and ready to learn.
2. Introduction of New Topic: Present the day’s objective and why it matters, connecting it to real-world applications when possible.
3. Interactive Instruction: Break down the topic into manageable parts, using examples, analogies, and visual aids. Encourage questions and discussion throughout.
4. Guided Practice: Work through sample problems or activities together, modeling the thought process.
5. Independent Practice: Assign exercises for you to try, offering support as needed.
