About Luca
I have many years experience as a tutor at the high school level. I am a teacher-candidate specializing in intermediate/senior (grade 7-12) biology, chemistry, and math. I have experienced student teaching in both traditional classrooms and alternative settings, including in special education, student success classes, credit recovery courses, and English as a Second Language classes. I have 3 years of supply teaching experience.

I take meticulous efforts to prepare my lessons with my students in mind. I approach all preparations with Universal Design in mind, as I recognize no two students learn the same way.
I allow my lessons to be student-driven so they’re most pressing questions are answered. I don’t end lessons without actually seeing comprehension and understanding by my students.
