About Ella
Hiiii I'm Ella I study in Australia and am 15 :) I have been learning clarinet for 6 years and am studying music at school; I am good with children and have experience in teaching young beginner kids. I have an incredible passion for clarinet and love to play good songs on it- I hope I can get to know you and help you in all ways I can ;D I have experience in clarinet exams and have performed in concerts both competitive and leisurely in Hong Kong and Australia. I can teach in Cantonese and English.

I have been playing for at least 5 years :) Since I only do online lessons, I teach students that already know the basics (as I cannot be there to teach the embouchure) but need extra guidance on technique, phrasing, etc. My lessons are focused on post-beginners to intermediates and I am an expert at teaching scales, arpeggios; preparing for pieces or practicing; fingering; reading music; rhythm and timing and also preparing the clarinet. I recommend all students check with their school's music teacher or band director for ongoing, face-to-face embouchure and breath-support correction. This ensures their long-term development of tone is supervised by a senior professional. I can teach via Zoom and WhatsApp. I require materials pre-sent to me as I need to know your level and prepare for the lesson, I would also need to know what you would like to learn.
