About Rue
Hello! My name is Rue, I am a member of the Honors College at Georgia Southern University where I am an English and Philosophy double major. Academics are always my top priority—when I am not in class, studying, or writing essays, I am hugely involved in school extracurriculars, such as philosophy and literary clubs which I write for and lead. In my true free time, I like to read classics and go to coffee shops!

As an honors student of English and Philosophy who is currently in the undergraduate portion of an intended PHD path, I take an enthusiastic and thorough approach in every academic endeavor, and this is the energy and experience I promise to bring to your sessions. I offer thoughtful lessons to middle school, high school, and undergraduate college students— I am adept and experienced with guidance in essay crafting and editing, SAT and exam prep, analysis, reading comprehension, and any other aspects of academic English in which you could use no-pressure, progress-minded support! I focus on genuine improvement and understanding that will bring out the best in your academics, while working off a foundation of nurturing honest interest-- learning can and should be to your benefit both in school and out of it!
While I do offer one on one sessions, I prefer to tutor in groups of about three; learning in a group really does bring out the best of every individual within it. If you are interested in group learning, let me know--otherwise, I'd be happy to see you one on one.
