About Claire
I am a graduate with a degree in French. In my time as a student I went from someone who saw little value in learning a second language to a keen Francophile (lover of all things French). I credit this to the wonderful teachers I had throughout my GCSE and A Level years. I hope that with my help I can not only encourge the best from your French studies and for you to achieve a fantastic grade, but also that you can truly enjoy learning a second (or perhaps for you, third or fourth) language! I promise to be patient and encouraging, and to listen to your frustrations so that we can find the best solutions to help you make the most of your time and effort.

- Typically offering 60 minute lessons but flexible and open to discussion/adjustment on a case by case basis.
- Focus on preparation for GCSE examination but also teaching from as young as KS1, as I have experience with ages 3-11. I would also be happy to teach adults (beginner to intermediate), please just let me know your experience and specific needs and we can discuss.
- I very much enjoy tailoring my teaching to specific subjects the students are more interested and engaged in - for one of my CE1 (Year 3) classes in France I taught them English language and culture through the story of Harry Potter.
