About Susanna
Ciao! I'm Susanna, my passport says I am Italian but truth is, once you learn languages, the world has no limits anymore! I grew up speaking Italian and Spanish, and learned English while on school exchange in New Zealand, where I started my first tutoring classes. I continued studying languages at university, and then did a postgraduate diploma in interpretation and translation. For as much as I like speaking the language and translating it, I realized that what I really enjoy is sharing my passion and knowledge with others, helping them achieve their goals. For this reason, I completed a Master of Teaching at UTS and have started teaching in public and private schools across Sydney while continuing to tutor adults. I currently work at the NSW School of Languages and at the Saturday College of Languages teaching Year 11 and 12 Beginners and Continuers. Besides languages, I am a very active person who likes the beach, riding motorbikes and climbing.. you may hear a lot of examples related to these topics during class!

"Teaching is not achieved if learning doesn't happen".. so classes are shaped on you, your interests and needs in order to provide you with the best strategies to learn the language and achieve your goals! I have been teaching in Australian high school for 5 years, but started tutoring over 10 years ago. I have taught children and adults, from beginners to advanced, and have always received positive feedback from my clients. As a learner and speaker of a foreign language myself, I know the struggle is real. This is why I always try to make it relevant, engaging and to find different ways to explain concepts to make sure they are clear before moving on.

Susanna is a great tutor. She's been doing it for years and she tailors her sessions depending on the student's need. She makes the classes fun and approaches difficult topics (like verb conjugation) in an interactive and exciting way.
I definitely recommend her!Susanna is very easy doing. She’s very knowledgeable and lessons are full of content, although the vibe is chilled. We had a mix of grammar, exercises and speaking, which was important to practice what I was learning. Been with her for months and will continue, definitely reccomend!
