About Maria
I am a qualified ESL teacher, have been working since 2007 with groups and individuals, with all ages and courses. I specialize in academic English and exam preparation (IELTS, PTE and Cambridge) but also conversational English. What I do best is help students reorganize what they already know so they can use it better and make fewer mistakes.

I believe that individual lessons should save the student time, so they should be different for everyone. I am very comfortable teaching any aspect of English at this point, so I prefer finding out what each person wants out of a lesson before I plan them; but I do like to give students as much practice time as possible in each lesson and will provide a study plan after our first meeting. I have tried and tested loads of materials and have narrowed down what works best.

Perfect! My experience with Maria was amazing! She kindly adapted her way of teaching to my personality and goal I wanted to achieve. I got inspired by her method and her passion for the language. We worked together on my preparation for the PTE as well as improving my English proficiency. I guess we nailed it! I successfully passed the PTE exam scoring the point I needed . Perfect! Maria is a very dynamic, kind and organized person. At the beginning, I shared her my worries, and she quickly understood my needs, and rapidly she gave me an action plan. Today, I have a calendar of activities that I have to fallow everyday. Also, I have others tools to strengthen my skills like websites, digital books and another stuff. Definitely, this one has helped me to focus on. I highly recommend to Maria if you are interested on improving your english level or whether you want to prepare for any preparation exam like Cambridge or IELTS.

Perfect! Maria was fantastic in preparing me for my IELTS test and helped me to understand the format of the test as well as provided me with examples and also was always available with answers to any of the questions I had.
I am so happy to have chosen Maria as my tutor for the IELTS prep. She is kind, attentive always available when I needed help; which as a result left me feeling really confident that I was prepared for the test in both format of the test as well as the content. I was able to get a 9 in every section and am certain that I would not have gotten the results I did without her help.
