About Hossein
Hi! My name is Mo, and I am an incoming medical student at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior and have over six years of experience tutoring and mentoring students. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a passion for helping others succeed and gain confidence in their abilities. My lessons are personalized to each student's learning style, goals, and current level of understanding. Rather than focusing on memorization, I help students build a strong conceptual foundation so they can solve problems confidently and apply what they learn to new situations. A typical lesson begins by identifying areas of difficulty, followed by guided instruction, worked examples, and practice problems to reinforce the material. I tutor middle school, high school, college, and premedical students in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physiology, and other life science courses. I also provide premed advising, including guidance on course planning, MCAT preparation, medical school applications, personal statements, secondary essays, and interview preparation. As an incoming medical student who has recently completed the admissions process, I combine up-to-date knowledge with years of tutoring experience to help students achieve their academic and professional goals.
