About Domenic
I am a passionate fitness expert with years of experience teaching exercise science and adjacent topics.
I have educated hundreds of individuals in both 1-on-1 and large group settings. I have also written a health, nutrition, and fitness textbook and have worked on the board of Subject Matter Experts for multiple fitness organizations.
Having consulted for various top fitness apps, personal trainer certification & certification prep companies, athletes, and other fitness organizations- I am able to walk you through practical applications of any content as it would apply when working in an actual health or fitness profession.
I am also a triple-Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist exam (CSCS), and Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS) with an MS Kinesiology (4.0 GPA), MPH Health Behavior (4.0 GPA), BS Kinesiology, and BA Psychology.
I have also published peer-reviewed academic research and have worked with researchers at multiple prestigious research institutions in the health sciences field, including researchers at Brown University and Johns Hopkins.
My background allows me to assist with a variety of topics. I can help you prepare for any group fitness certification or individual fitness certification exam, including but not limited to the Certified Personal Trainer exam (CPT) and Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist exam (CSCS).
I also have expertise in Biomechanics, exercise science, exercise physiology, health psychology, health communications, public health, sports science, and kinesiology. I am able to tutor in each of these areas.

I am very passionate about the material that I teach and Exercise Science as a whole. Having grown up morbidly obese and lost over 130 pounds myself, I greatly appreciate the value this field brings to people's lives. As such, I am entirely invested in helping you understand the material you're looking to cover.
I also like to focus on making complex scientific concepts easy to understand, using plain language that you'll be able to easily remember when it matters most. To help with this, I provide tricks for remembering challenging concepts when possible. Science doesn't have to be as hard as it seems at first glance.
Ultimately, your goal is my goal.
