About Cole
I'm a PhD student at Yale University, and previously received my BSc (Honours) from the University of Toronto. I have years of tutoring experience (grades 1-12), as well as teaching experience as an instructor for both undergraduate and graduate courses. I'm a certified data and software carpentries instructor and have extensive pedagogical experience in the science of teaching and learning.

My specialty is in tutoring computer science/programming, data science, biology, and English. I'm incredibly passionate about the science of teaching and learning, and in a one-on-one environment, my goal is to take the time to know the student I'm working with, and develop strategies that work for their learning style and strengths. Ultimately, I aim to help students overcome learning barriers and frustrations and ultimately make meaningful progress in a student's ability to learn independently.
