About Russell

I am a Silversmith with over 6-years jewellery-making experience. I have exhibited at Chelsea Jewellery Fair, with various London Pop-Up shops as well as selling my limited collections online. I work with traditional silversmithing techniques as well as digital sculpting and 3D printing.

About the lesson

I have been Silversmithing for over 6 years having completed a Diploma at the London Jewellery Workshop. My designs and ability vary from traditional signet rings, through to more elaborate sculptural, wearable art. These lessons are for beginners onwards. In a typical physical lesson we will go over the important techniques of soldering, piercing and cutting metal so that you are ready to make your own pieces from day one. In a digital jewellery making lesson we will look at the software and techniques to make accurately sized pieces. The lessons are designed to get you up and running as soon as possible so that you can begin experimenting with different techniques. For in-person lessons I will provide all of the equipment that we will need. There are additional charges for extra metal, gemstones or equipment if you would like to purchase it.
