About Johnathan
I received tutoring during my time in high school and I was able to learn from my tutors about which styles were more effective and which were not. I was able to utilize the strategies I found best when I tutored my own students in Biology and Calculus. Many are fluent in calculus, biology, physics, etc., butI find few tutors are able to relate with students and impact their learning in a meaningful way which is what I set out to do.

I understand the dilemma many students face when they are tutored. Many old school tutors all take the same, not very engaging approach that causes children to lose interest. As a student myself I make sure my students are able to stay engaged through creative lesson planning. I start with simple, real world examples that students will understand and build upon those examples to dive into more advanced concepts in STEM.

John tutored me during high school for AP level biology. As we were only two years apart I was not sure if I would he getting the best tutoring, but since he had taken the class already, he understood the concepts better than the professionally hired tutor I had for the same class. He made concepts simple and easy for me to understand. I also know he worked with children in sports so I would recommend him for children of all ages!!!
