About Catherine
Hi! I'm Catherine and I currently live near D.C.. I grew up in Heidelberg, Germany, so I'm fluent in German as well as English, and originally wanted to be a hematologist before deciding to pursue journalism in college. I love reading and am a published short fiction writer as well as a regular contributor to newspaper. I have two cats, named Liesel and Rudy, who live with me in my apartment.

I'm a rising junior at Washington and Lee University studying journalism and mass communications. In high school, I got a 5 in AP Lang and a 7 in IB English HL - I have written essays for history and literature as well as lab reports for biology and mathematics. In college, I have taken multiple journalistic and creative writing classes. I'm here to help you develop your unique writing style, no matter the subject, for good grades and future success.
