About Kate
I am a junior mechanical engineering major with a strong background in mathematics. I specialize in helping students understand difficult concepts in subjects like algebra, geometry, and calculus by breaking them down in a clear and simple way. My goal is to build confidence and improve grades by making math less stressful and more approachable. I am patient, supportive, and focused on helping students succeed on tests, assignments, and overall understanding.

I first start out explaining the topic and give the student different tips or tricks to help them understand it. Then I do some examples on the topic. If it looks like the student understands it, I will give them some problems to try by themselves. At the end I give them feedback on what they did right and what they need to work on. I explain anything they missed and how they can improve it. Lessons can be for students middle school to high school.
