About Vaishnavi
Namaste! My name is Vaishnavi. Every graceful spin, every beat of the ghungroo and every performance has shaped the dancer I am today. After 10 years of dedicated training, earning Prabhakar (6th Year), Visharad Part II and performing on 500+ stages, my goal is simple—to help students fall in love with Kathak. I believe learning should feel inspiring, never intimidating, and every student deserves the confidence to shine.

I was once a student too, so I understand that everyone learns differently. My classes are fun, supportive and easy to follow. We begin with 20 minutes of riyaaz, including warm-ups, hand movements, tatkar and chakkars. The rest of the session focuses on Kathak basics, expressions and technique. We'll also learn beautiful choreographies, including reel-friendly routines, so you can build confidence while enjoying your Kathak journey.

Details
My classes cover everything from Kathak basics to advanced techniques. Students will learn tatkar, chakkars, hastaks, abhinaya, rhythm, theory and stage presentation. I also create personalised choreographies for performances, competitions and social media reels. Each class is tailored to the student's pace, ensuring steady progress in a fun and supportive environment.
