About Saanya
I am currently a Mathematics undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, with a passion for teaching. At GCSE, I achieved all 9s, and at A-level, I received A*s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. In addition, I have an IQ of 162 and was a featured member of Mensa. My aim is to make maths understandable and enjoyable for students, teaching them how to derive results for themselves rather than giving out formulae. As someone who has been through GCSEs, A-levels and University admission processes myself recently, I can give a personal insight and provide tailored teaching to each student.

I firmly believe in guiding students to find answers themselves. My tuitions will focus on helping students to understand key concepts over providing solutions immediately, to help strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Length of lessons can range from 1-2 hours with a break in between and will be adjusted accordingly to the students' age and level.

Perfect! Saanya was very patient and flexible when teaching new ideas. She made sure lessons were informative and useful by finding gaps in my knowledge, and listening to my ideas before helping out when needed. Ideas were summarised at the end of lessons, which were clearly structured. Strongly recommend!

Having worked with Saanya on several occasions, she is clearly well equipped to be an excellent tutor; with her intelligence and patience, she is incredible at aiding students in understanding core concepts at their own pace.
As one of Saanya’s former peers, I cannot think of a better person to be a tutor. She is smart, clear spoken and has a very good understanding of the topics she teaches, making her explanations easy to follow and also engaging. It is very clear that she is passionate about her subjects, which radiates onto the people she teaches.
Saanya helped me with a lot of my A-level mathematics work. Not only did she explain any questions I had, she also was kind enough to provide me with notes she had written herself! I really appreciate how she broke down difficult questions into parts so it would be easier to grasp. Thank you Saanya !
