About Sebastian
I initially studied Mathematics and Music at undergraduate level and graduated from King's College London with a Master's degree in Mathematics in 2017. In the same year, I began studying composition in Italy and have also been working as a freelance maths tutor ever since, continually expanding my expertise and knowledge to provide the best possible support to university and high school students.

This quote from Albert Einstein has accompanied me since my school days, reminding me to focus on the big picture and the beauty of mathematics even in moments when it wasn't that easy (such as in the middle of university exam season). Over time, I came to realize just how important good organization and efficient study methods are in order to maintain that overview of the larger picture. And that's exactly what I want to help you with. In my lessons:
explanations of complicated theorems are always underpinned with practical examples;
by creating personalized "overview sheets" we’ll always keep an overview;
together we can create a battle plan for exam preparation;
when motivation is low, we’ll widen our gaze to remember the „bigger picture“.
I always cater to the special needs of my students. There are no stupid questions and I am happy to explain the same concepts as many times as necessary until the fog clears. We can work through your homework together, close gaps in your knowledge or discuss lesson content that has not yet been covered in order to give you a little head start.

The lessons take place via ZOOM. In most cases, I share the screen of my iPad and make the notes taken during the lesson available as a PDF. If you also have an iPad or Android tablet with a pen, we can use an app called GoodNotes to collaborate in a shared document in real time.

Appointments can be postponed or cancelled up to 24 hours before the appointment. If the deadline is exceeded, a refund is not possible.

Perfect! Sto facendo ripetizioni con Sebastian per un esame di matematica. Al momento mi sta aiutando su argomenti di algebra lineare. Trovo il suo modo molto utile, in quanto è paziente e molto preciso nelle sue spiegazioni. Se non capisco un argomento me lo rispiega in modo diverso finché non lo capisco. Sono curiosa di sapere anche come andranno le lezioni su argomenti di analisi. Consigliatissimo!!
Perfect! Sono una studentessa della Bocconi a Milano e ho seguito lezioni di Algebra Lineare con Sebastian in preparazione di un esame. Mi sono trovata benissimo con lui, molto disponibile e professionale. Ho già consigliato Sebastian a diversi amici perché è in grado di spiegare argomenti complicati in maniera ordinata e comprensibile.

Perfect! Ho fatto lezione con Sebastian su serie di Fourier e analisi complessa. Devo dire che è molto bravo e preparato. Vi darà un ottimo aiuto per risolvere qualsiasi problema abbiate con la matematica.

Perfect! Ad oggi ho fatto due lezioni di Analisi 1 con Sebastian e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto. Abbiamo lavorato sulle serie e sui limiti con Taylor. Spiegazioni estremamente chiare per quanto riguarda la teoria e un ottimo supporto per lo svolgimento degli esercizi. Da studente di ingegneria, mi sento di consigliarlo a chiunque!

Mi sono rivolto a Sebastian per alcune lezioni di consolidamento in vista di un esame universitario particolarmente pesante e, grazie al suo aiuto, sono riuscito a superarlo con un ottimo voto e senza particolari difficoltà.
Consiglio Sebastian a chiunque avesse bisogno di un insegnante preparato e disponibile, che non si fa problemi a spiegarti le cose che non capisci anche mille volte, e tutto questo a un prezzo più che ragionevole per l’eccellente servizio offerto!
