About Lakshmi
I'm a Malayalee but I was born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh. So naturally, I wasn't very fluent in the language (same would be the case with you as well I'm assuming). So I know how that feels and I used to always feel left out when I used to go back to Kerala during my Summer vacations. I wasn't able to strike up a conversation with anybody and felt really alone. That's when I took it up as a challenge and learned decent level of Malayalam within a year. It wasn't easy. I had to go through multiple books, videos (youtube wasn't that popular then) and eventually with help of my parents and books, I was able to get a decent level of understanding.
I don't want you to go through all that trouble and hence I would ensure that you don't make those mistakes which I did.
