Latin & Classical Greek tuition from Cambridge Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic Finalist — Beginners, GCSE, A level - Online

As a close friend, I've received many a lesson in Latin and Greek grammar from Frankie over the years. His patience and ability to simplify and explain complex structures to someone who hasn't studied the languages for years is something I have always admired and this, combined with an infectious passion for the subject are qualities that make him an excellent tutor in his field.

Frankie has been absolutely invaluable in helping me with Latin, answering any questions I've had with great depth, while keeping the explanations easily understandable. I cannot recommend him enough for anyone seeking support with the subject.

Frankie is incredibly knowledgeable and engaged in his field, and he is always able to contextualise and explain his knowledge from many different angles in academic discussions which really showcases his adaptability towards a variety of styles of learning. He is great at providing new insights and clarifications in a way that makes sense and feels supportive in building up understanding through a positive and learning-focused lens.

Frankie is my colleague in the Department of English & ASNC at Cambridge, and has been of immense help on many occasions.

His command of Latin and Greek is impeccable, and he has often given me support in topics ranging from etymologies, to ancient Greek dramatic conventions, to the impact of the Romans on the present day.

Through all of this, Frankie has been very kind and understanding, often answering questions with patience and an ability to communicate ideas in a relatable manner. Frankie's passion for the subject is self-evident, but does not overwhelm a novice learner.

Frankie is a fantastic student and I imagine he would be an equally fantastic tutor.
