About Rex

I am currently taking AP Latin and have completed Latin 1, Latin 2, and Honors Latin 3, achieving no less than a 94% in each course. My most recent grade in Honors Latin 3 was a 98%. I have also earned multiple silver, bronze, and magna cum laude medals and certificates, including the National Roman Civilization Exam Silver Medal and the National Latin Vocabulary Exam Silver Medal. I am VP of Service & Spirituality in my grade and have peer tutored many Latin students at school. I would be able to easily communicate with students.

Latin 1

-Introduction to Latin: Vocabulary and grammar.
- Pronunciation and Writing: How to pronounce Latin words and write using the Latin alphabet.

Latin 2

- Expanded Grammar: More complex verb conjugations (past and future tenses), introduction to perfect tense, and more noun cases (genitive, dative, ablative).
- Sentence Structure: More complex sentence structures and use of relative clauses.
- Vocabulary Building: Increased vocabulary, including more thematic and contextual words.
- Reading Comprehension: Simple Latin texts and stories, including fables and myths.
- Roman Mythology and Culture: Introduction to Roman myths, legends, and cultural practices.

Latin 3

- Advanced Grammar: Complex verb forms (subjunctive mood, passive voice), advanced noun cases, and participles.
