About Iara
I am a Law and criminology graduate, with a master's in law but aside from this I have loved languages since a young age. I have both GCSE and A-level grades in both Portuguese and Spanish, reaching top grades in both. I have tutored others for 9 years in school, outside of school and even created after school clubs to help younger students. My aim is to help students get higher grades in Portuguese and Spanish, I love to build their confidence and show them they are more than capable. It is important for me that I find ways in teaching that suit you as everyone is different, so I like to incorporate this into my lessons! Learning can be fun and you can do it, let me help you build your confidence and your grades.

Iara helped me better my english a lot, every doubt I had or mistake I made she was there to help me with it. Would reccomend, truly helpful.
Iara is a dedicated tutor who helps students master new material through patient, step-by-step instruction and tailored practice. Her lessons prioritise clear knowledge transfer, build confidence, and turn challenging topics into enjoyable learning experiences.
I have complete confidence in her ability to guide students to success as I had such a positive experience with Iara.I highly recommend Iara as an English tutor. She completed English A-Level with strong results and is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Law, which shows her advanced academic ability and excellent command of English. She is reliable, patient, and skilled at explaining complex ideas clearly, making her a trustworthy and effective tutor.
