About Phoebe
My name is Phoebe, I'm 20 years old and studying Law at the University of Leeds. While I one day hope to become a lawyer, my main interests include dance, travelling, and anything creative! I worked as a dance teacher for 3 years and took classes for 17 years, having performed in some really cool places like London and even Disneyland! While you can trust me to help boost your academic ability, I also want to hear about you and your interests so that I can ensure our sessions are engaging, as engaging lessons are what help content be truly learnt, rather than just heard. As well as a dance teacher, I have previously worked as a tutor for children aged 9-16, so my vast range of experience means I am confident getting stuck in to sessions and helping you achieve your highest potential.

My lessons are for both learning content and increasing confidence, in learning, and ability to convey ideas from mind to paper or conversation, and in everyday life as a school pupil. My lessons last between 30 minutes and 1 hour, for any age, as my experience allows me to be easily adaptable to a vast range of requirements. I am currently studying Law at the University of Leeds, having achieved A*A*AB at A-Level (A* in English language) and five 9's and four 8's at GCSE (9/8 in English lang/lit). I have experience as a GCSE-level English tutor while studying for my A-levels, reading partner for 11-13 year olds with learning difficulties such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism, and primary school 'buddy' for Y6 students needing some extra help before SATS. I work hard to not only ensure my students enjoy their learning, but the lessons too, by incorporating fun educational games and discussions into my sessions :)
