About Avery
I graduated valedictorian from my high school this past year, and while I am looking to continue my education, I would love the opportunity to teach young artists.
I have been drawing since I was young and have passed college level art classes. I’ve worked with many mediums over the years and have a good understanding of how to use them.

I offer online lessons over zoom to help aspiring artist hone in on their techniques.
I’ve had a passion for art ever since I was young, and understand the struggle of trying to figure out certain mediums without proper guidance.
A typical lesson plan would include learning about mixed media and how to effectively combine materials. I prefer a hands-on teaching style, and would provide guidance, as well as giving you the opportunity to practice as we go.
While I do not claim to be a great master at mixed media, I feel comfortable with my experience and knowledge to help beginner artists.

Despite Avery's age, they have such an incredible understanding of the various principles of art. Avery is able to eloquently explain them and show you what to look for to improve your own work. They are very fluent in ProCreate and their works with watercolor/inks are stunning! I highly recommend Avery if you're looking for someone to mentor you.
Avery creates a very calming and comfortable environment to learn in that's perfect for any artist looking to learn. Which can be especially important when just starting out. When sharing our art, his constructive criticism is hugely helpful and aids in keeping ideas and creativity flowing.
