About Michelle

Hi! I'm Michelle! I'm passionate about learning, and teaching languages (and music!). I'm a Mexican and I currently live in México. I've worked as a language instructor for about 18 years. I've been in charge of various groups of students ranging from 4 - 60 y/o I studied music performance and production for my Bachelor's degree. I have a language teaching training from Berlitz Language Centers.

About the lesson

¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? Each lesson—or set of lessons—will have a specific conversational goal. For example, you might practice making a hotel reservation in Spanish, calling to inquire about a service, giving a presentation, or ordering food at a restaurant. Your program will be fully personalized to fit your needs. To reinforce learning, we’ll dedicate a short time to reviewing previous material, helping fluency become second nature. Our primary focus will be speaking and clear communication, but we’ll also incorporate listening, reading, and writing as needed, based on your personal goals.

Michelle is a wonderful singing teacher!! She is extremely kind and understanding, which makes lessons feel very enjoyable as well as comfortable. She does an amazing job at making the lesson feel like a safe space, even if you get things wrong or don’t feel the most confident in your skills, and brings a positive energy. Very patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable! Would definitely reccomend :)

Michelle is an excellent teacher—way more patient than you’d expect and incredibly knowledgeable, both in theory and practice. The lessons are fun and really enriching at the same time. She’s super creative and always knows how to tackle a problem and teach you in the best way possible. If I could, I’d give her 100,000 stars!
