About Matt

I began playing music when I was in the fourth grade! I played through elementary, middle, high school, college, and continue to play today! I am a band director, as well as an instrumentalist, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a minor in Education. In addition to just learning music theory, I use theory to help "play by ear" and can help you do the same as an added BONUS!

I’ve watched him consistently teach music for 19 years. He’s worked with teams and they’ve grown in their skill. He is VERY studious and is always applying himself and learning new skills. He is trustworthy and is a hard worker. He can read and write songs plus charts. He can explain things very well for any level of skill.
