About Sharanya
My name is Sharanya and I am 19 years old and currently pursuing my BBA in Digital Technologies at Mahindra University, and alongside my academics, dance has always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve had a deep love for Indian classical dance for as long as I can remember—every time I hear music, I instinctively start visualizing movements and choreography.
I am a trained Bharatanatyam dancer with over 10 years of learning under a renowned guru, and I’ve completed my certification with a first rank. For me, dance is not just a skill, it’s something incredibly therapeutic, it helps you express, unwind, and connect with yourself on a deeper level.
I’m someone who is driven, passionate, and genuinely excited to share this art form with others. I believe Bharatanatyam doesn’t have to feel intimidating; with the right guidance, it can be enjoyable, expressive, and something you look forward to learning.

Hi! I’m Sharanya and I’m a Bharatanatyam dancer with over 10 years of training under Guru Manjula Ramaswamy, a Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee honored by the President of India. I’ve completed my certification in Bharatanatyam and secured the first rank, and now I’m here to share everything I’ve learned with you.
I understand that Bharatanatyam can feel a little intimidating at first but it really doesn’t have to be. With the right basics and a comfortable learning pace, anyone can learn and enjoy this art form. My focus is on building strong fundamentals in a way that feels natural, not overwhelming.
Once your basics are in place, we won’t just stop there. I’ll help you explore choreography, express yourself through movement, and gradually grow into the dance form with confidence. My classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and something you actually look forward to—whether it’s learning new mudras, perfecting steps, or understanding the meaning behind what you’re dancing.
Bharatanatyam is more than just dance it builds grace, discipline, and a deeper connection to our culture. And I want you to experience that in a way that feels exciting, not stressful.
