About Joy
"Miss Joy, you're sooo good at what you do. Have you always been this good?" As unreal as it sounds, the answer is no. I wasn't always this good at English. I remember when I was in primary school. I always struggled with English. Not until my dad found out and taught me first hand what my teachers hadn't taught me then... The technique of spelling with sound. This was the beginning of my success in English. Further more, he enrolled me in a private home lesson where I further developed my vocabulary. I began to excel and I became the best in my class. If I could rise from struggling with English to now helping others learn same, why can't you? You definitely can and you will. I'm here to help you take that first step.

I've helped preparing SSCE students get amazing grades in their exams, volunteered on different occasions to tutor at community lessons and paid private lessons. A session takes not less than an hour with assignments for self practice at the end. This builds the minds of my students and keeps them conversant with what was taught in that session, there by helping them get better and better at it and if they're still not clear? We go over it again because their understanding is what matters in the end.
