About Emily
Hi, I'm Emily, a recent A-level student with a passion for STEM subjects, sustainability and helping others reach their potential. I enjoy working with people and have developed strong communication skills through presenting to students, academics and industry professionals in both the UK and USA.
Alongside my studies, I have supported younger students through a school 3D Printing Club, completed work experience in a primary school and helped run an international design workshop. These experiences reinforced my enjoyment of mentoring others and seeing their confidence grow.
As I progress into university, I hope to continue tutoring and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual learning style, strengths and areas for development. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
Having recently completed A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Product Design and EPQ, alongside Triple Science GCSEs and NCFE Engineering, I can support students in GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Combined Science, Design & Technology and Engineering, as well as A-level Biology.
Through my experience assisting younger students in a 3D Printing Club, supporting primary school pupils and mentoring students during an international design workshop, I have developed strong communication skills and enjoy helping others learn.
Lessons typically combine explanations, worked examples, exam-style questions and revision strategies, with content adapted to the student's goals and level of understanding.
I understand that every student learns differently and believe that adapting teaching to the individual is key to developing both confidence and academic success.
