About Daisy
My name is Daisy and I am currently an A-Level French student. Tutoring for me is an opportunity to share and improve my French skills in preparation for university and becoming an au pair in the future. My tutoring style is relaxed and focussed entirely on your specific goals. I am prepared to tutor students through exams or simply for the fun of learning and improving comprehension of a new language and culture!
The first lesson will involve me understanding your level of proficiency through a short introductory test that will allow me to tailor my course to you. This is not something to worry about - there are no wrong answers. If you’re preparing for an exam, I will give you an in depth recount of what the exam involves (from a student who has recently sat it!)
Following this, I like to begin by practicing speaking in my lessons, then progressing to giving homework help and working from feedback given from the teacher. I also enjoy using roleplay with my students to help immerse them in language learning.
I also offer film and book recommendations to students depending on their level!
