About Shaloom
Hi, I’m Shaloom. I’ve just completed my A-Levels with A grades in Maths and Physics, and a B in Business. I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and helping classmates understand tough topics, which inspired me to start tutoring. As someone who has just sat the exams, I know exactly what they’re like, what examiners are really asking for, and the strategies that helped me achieve top grades. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about making Maths and Physics less intimidating and more enjoyable for students. Outside of studying, I enjoy playing cricket and chess which I find helps me connect with students and keep lessons engaging. My goal is simple: to help students build confidence, improve their grades, and maybe even learn to enjoy the subjects along the way.

My lessons are designed to make challenging topics in Maths, Physics, and Science clear and approachable. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths, Physics, and Science, drawing on my recent A-Level success (A in Maths, A in Physics, B in Business). Because I’ve just been through the exams myself, I understand exactly how topics are tested, what examiners look for, and how to avoid common mistakes.
