About Eleanor
I am a student at sixth form and I currently study Biology, Psychology and English Literature. I have been tutoring free lance for a year and have taught year 2s but also year 11s. I also have an educational background- both my parents are teachers and my sister is also a teacher so I can access excellent resources. Finally, I have experience teaching dyslexic children whom have responded well to my methods.

I firstly stat out with assessing each child and seeing what they can do. I then work through each topic methodically and spend as much time on that topic as they need. Generally I have quite a practical approach when it comes to Primary School children, ie I bring in my own clocks when it comes to learning how to tell time. With Secondary School students I never use the same method as each child is different and I asses how they learn best but I probably use powerpoints and whiteboards and sugar paper most. With dyslexic children, I use their own toys/ belongings to explain topics.
