About Shiarra
I am a dedicated English tutor with a background in Psychology and experience teaching young learners through both online ESL classes and in-school support. As a Registered Psychometrician, I bring a strong understanding of how students learn, allowing me to tailor lessons to each child’s needs and learning style.
I have worked with students in developing their grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills using interactive and engaging methods. My experience during my internship at Southdale Integrated School further strengthened my ability to support diverse learners through individualized attention and structured classroom activities.

My lessons typically run for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s age, attention span, and learning needs. I structure sessions with a warm-up, focused lesson, interactive practice, and a short review to ensure understanding while keeping students engaged throughout.
• Experience:
I have experience as an ESL online teacher, where I taught Science, Math, grammar, vocabulary, and conversational English using interactive methods that increased student participation. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am a Registered Psychometrician, which helps me apply effective learning and behavioral strategies in teaching.
• My lessons are designed for children and young learners, particularly beginners to intermediate levels. I work well with students who need help building foundational English skills, improving communication, or gaining confidence, including those who benefit from patient, supportive, and personalized instruction.
