About Amanda
She possesses her MFA in Children's Book Illustration from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, CA (2016) and her BA in Art Education from Westfield State University in Westfield, MA (2013). Her work has shown in various galleries, such as the Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA (2022), the Richard Michelson Gallery in Northampton, MA (2018), and the Arno Mars gallery in Westfield, MA (2020). She has obtained awards such as the Richard Michelson Emerging Artist Award (2018), and the Tricksters Art Gallery in Berkeley, CA (2014). Snape works primarily in watercolor and is currently a public school art teacher. Though she continues to pursue Children's Book opportunities, as well as bringing tattooing into her portfolio, her work has solely been focused on the realms of Fantasy Art.
