About Hayley
I graduated in Spring 2020 with a bachelor's degree in education from Vancouver Island University. I am currently a Teacher Teaching on Call in the Comox Valley School District. I am qualified to teach kindergarten to grade 7 in all subject areas. I have been working with school aged children in many different settings for the past 11 years, including as a learn to skate and power skating instructor in Nanaimo, Grande Prairie and Edmonton, and in daycares and respite centers as a special needs support worker.

My classes are meant for kindergarten to grade 7 students. I teach my students how to think for themselves by teaching them how to ask questions if they are unclear on something or want to know more about a subject. I believe that if a student has the capability to think for themselves and ask questions, they will lead a life long journey in education. I help my students find their passions and make sure that they get the opportunity to practice them. My lessons are fun and interactive and include a variety of delivery methods (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, interpersonal, etc.) to suite each learner. Every learner is different and has unique needs. I strive to support my students in whichever way they require it and adjust my methods as needed.
