I have struggled in the past with subjects such as English, Executive Function skills, Geography, History, procrastination, and many more subjects along with skills. A typical lesson plan for me is to list what assignments the student needs help with. We start with the hardest subject, and end with the completion of the easiest subject.
Another kind of lesson that I do is working with a student who needs help with a particular skill. I break up learning that skill over a few or more sessions to avoid overloading the student. By using this method , I'm able to go in-depth to accurately help the student by rebuilding/fine tuning the core skills. This helps me figure out the best way to teach my students in the subjects that cause them frustration.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my laid-back fun professional attitude whom is easy to approach and relate to without the fear of being unfairly judged. I tutor Executive Functioning, English, Geography, History, Psychology, Social Skills, Social Studies, Time Management, a bit of science and a bit of Math. I also help edit essays along with teaching basic video editing skills. I tutor from third grade to adult learners.
