I'm going to start with vowels and letter pronunciation From there we go to numbers so you won't get ripped off. Then you have to memorize words but that's not all. You have to change the order of the words in sentences and use phrases like those used by the the people you are trying to communicate with. You are trying to fit in so you have to sort of pick someone that you want to be like and imitate, which in your case will be me. this will work at first and will even be easier because we have both started from the same place and I speak fluent Spanish but in my opinion eventually you will have to imitate a Spanish first languge person
The taxi driver stops the taxi, gets out, and walks away. 3 other guys walk up and open the doors...your turn. Start speaking Spanish.

Ed is a patient teacher. He makes learning fun! He is well versed Central American Spanish, especially Honduras and tells wonderful stories to keep you engaged. If you plan on traveling Central America Ed is your guía!
Ed and I went to high school together. He has a fine arts BA and English as native tongue then 30 years in Honduras doing business in Spanish! Great sense of humor and an ability to skip to the gist of communication.
EC was immersed in the Spanish culture and language after spending many years in Utila, Honduras. If anyone can instruct you to learn and understand this language, you can't go wrong Mr Carleton. Aprendizaje feliz
