About Cole
Hello! My name is Cole and I am a marine biologist who studied biology and environmental science in high school and college. I remember being a student and feeling like even though I was excited about the things I was learning, I still had struggles just like any other class. I want to help you succeed and understand what you are learning in class, even if you don't love it! I have worked in non-profit science education the last few years with all different age groups but I enjoy working one on one with people the most. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

I like to approach learning by first finding out where a student currently is in a class and using that as a jumping off point to build on. In the natural sciences, a strong understanding of foundational concepts is so important to have before moving on to larger concepts within the subject.
In addition to having taken many natural science courses myself, I previously worked as an educator in a non-profit institution where I presented science programs and lessons for the general public and school groups. I am comfortable working with middle and high school level biology students, as well as high school and AP environmental science students.
