About Jim
I have been a public school teacher for over 10 years. My passion is working with students with disabilities, but I have found good teaching strategies work for all students.
I have received several awards for teaching; such as: new teacher of the year and special-education teacher of the year.
I live in Lake Arrowhead and can easily accommodate mountain students.

I have worked with students from kindergarten to college. My profession has taught me that all students learn in their own, unique way. I will work with you to find strategies and lessons that help you move forward with your academic goals.
A typical lesson will involve a pre-assessment, review of previous learned material, and guided practice. Every lesson can come with independent practice (think homework) if desired.
