About Olivia

I am a Master of Design graduate with an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts, Music and French. I used to work freelance as an essay editor, so I am very comfortable working with second-language students in improving their speaking and writing skills.

About the lesson

My teaching methods for English are more coloquial, and I focus on how to improve English language learning for day to day use. When I go over writing in English, I tend to focus on writing patterns rather than more rigid grammatical education. My focus is giving a quick and ready grasp of English language speaking and writing. I am a Master of Design graduate with an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts, Music and French. I have taught English speaking workshops and language practice at Ecole La Masse and Université Lyon II. I have experience working as an essay editor, so I am very comfortable working with second-language students in improving their speaking and writing skills.

I know Olivia personally as we are family. She has lots of experience and great reviews from working with children. She is very kind, patient, and is a highly motivated teacher. Her bilingualism is beyond university level courses.

When we had a babysitting business together, she was highly praised by the parents of the child and felt very comfortable with her. We were both raised speaking only English, so she understands the challenges that a second language learner might face.

If you are looking for a teacher with expertise and who will be very considerate and thoughtful towards your child's or your own needs, she will be a great fit for you.
