About Mila

I’m a dedicated French tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold a **Master of Education in French Immersion Pedagogy in Linguistics**. I specialize in teaching **adult learners** who want to use French confidently in real-life situations. My lessons are **goal-oriented**, focusing on travel, business communication, and relocation needs. Each session is designed to be practical, engaging, and directly relevant to the learner’s goals. I use **role-play scenarios, case studies, and discussions** to simulate authentic interactions in both personal and professional contexts. Students learn not only to speak French but to think and respond naturally in diverse settings. I place strong emphasis on **industry-specific vocabulary** for professionals in hospitality, healthcare, and diplomacy. Lessons are fully customized to the learner’s field, ensuring they can communicate effectively and with cultural awareness. I also integrate pronunciation practice and listening comprehension to strengthen fluency and confidence. My approach combines structure with adaptability, making learning efficient and enjoyable. I aim to empower learners to express themselves with precision, confidence, and ease. Together, we’ll master **practical French** that opens doors to new experiences, careers, and connections in the French-speaking world.

About the lesson

My French teaching approach is friendly, structured, and focused on real communication. I help students build a strong foundation in **speaking, listening, reading, and writing**, while keeping lessons enjoyable and interactive. Every class begins with simple conversation practice to boost confidence and fluency.

I use **listening comprehension activities** like short dialogues, songs, and videos to train the ear to recognize natural French speech. **Verb conjugation** is taught through clear explanations, visual charts, and practical exercises that make grammar easy to understand and remember. I also include **slang and idiomatic expressions** so students can sound natural and confident in real-life conversations.

For those learning French for travel, I provide **travel language preparation**, including useful phrases, cultural tips, and everyday vocabulary. My lessons balance accuracy and creativity, helping learners express themselves clearly and with personality.

I understand that some students learn French to connect with new environments or for personal growth, while others learn out of pure curiosity and passion. I create a supportive space where both kinds of learners feel encouraged, respected, and inspired to progress.

Each lesson is adapted to the student’s pace, goals, and interests. My goal is to make French learning practical, enjoyable, and full of discovery—so students can communicate with confidence and truly enjoy the beauty of the language!
