Master's in Music, flute performance, with 39 years of experience has lessons for all ages in San Diego

Marion is fabulous. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced with all kinds of music, and the flute. She is great fun, and can work with different personalities and learning goals.

Calm, relaxing atmosphere, learner-oriented but she pushed me to the next level to play at the National Flute Convention. Marion has unique experience in different kinds of flutes including the base flute.

I have worked with Marion as a professional colleague in San Diego in performance and musical education teaching forums. She is highly recommended in the Southern California area for her mentoring skills with young artists. As a current and well sought after performer, she passes those valuable experiences to her students.

Marion is considered to be a world-class flute player by many of her colleagues, several of whom reside overseas and only see each other at conventions in the U.S. and Europe.

She can play in virtually any genre and has a fantastic ear for music. She is just as superlative as a collaborator, with skills easily transferable to being an instructor.

While she is well versed in technique with the disciplines to adhere to the rudiments of playing flute, she also is an artist in the sense that she totally supports expression, which she is eager to pass on to students.

And finally, she's great fun to work with! Students will not only learn from one of the world's best, they'll be inspired by her infectious love for the instrument.
