About Abigail
As a tutor, I love sharing excitement about literature and all things English with others. I know that English may not come easily for everyone. I myself found my first essays a struggle. I want every student to know that they can learn to write clearly and elegantly, and hope to help inspire confidence and a love of reading in each person I teach.
I am currently a masters student in my final months of Queens University Occupational Therapy program. In my undergraduate degree, I completed a minor in English. I have several years of experience as a private tutor and have designed several English courses for friends and family upon request.

My Approach
My aim in teaching is for students to become inspired as they explore the riches of books and literature and to guide them to becoming clear and confident writers, whether in writing an essay or an email, a novel or a note. Instruction is tailored to meet each student's individual goals and interests.
Who are the lessons for?
I offer lessons to those of any age, from elementary school to undergraduate level education. Lessons are for those who wish to supplement their current education or for those who wish to learn more about English for pleasure.
