About Dorothy
I am currently a postgraduate student taking up Master of International and Development Economics at the Australian National University. Prior to my studies, I have been working as an Economist for the Philippine government.
During my undergraduate years, I was able to tutor a high school class for six months as part of my university's curriculum. I was also an online English tutor to Japanese students of all ages and background.
I love teaching and watching student's improve, especially in a field where I am passionate about.

I believe that people have different learning styles (i.e., auditory, visual, etc.) and so that I can tailor fit the class to the student's particular need. I am generally easy going and I focus more on making sure that the student understands and appreciates concepts and their use in the real world.
