I had the privilege of attending Sagar’s Hatha and Power yoga classes. He teaches traditional Ashtanga style yoga. He imparts generously his knowledge, energy and kindness in all his classes. He brings smiles and fun and most of all he ends each class with the most beautiful healing sound bath. I am very grateful for his teachings.

I started taking Sager’s Ashtanga classes and was instantly impressed. He’s one of those yoga teachers you will come across in Vancouver once every 5-10 years. A rare find amongst the thousands of yoga teachers here; he’s the real deal. You will be inspired to grow stronger in your practice, tackle those poses you shy away from, and also learn the true philosophy and meaning of yoga. In my experience, teachers like this are often moving to better places, so learn and take his classes while you can!

I met Sagar at a local yoga studio. Within a few minutes of class, I recognized Sagar to be "the real deal"! As a South Asian and Hindu, I had been searching for a yoga teacher who could instruct me in both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. Sagar sir is one of the best yoga teachers I have ever met! This I can say because I have been his student. The way he conducts his lessons is very engaging. Even in a class of many students he will make it a point to give you personalised attention so that one doesn’t feel left out. Yoga is not just physical fitness. I recently took some sessions with Sagar. It has been a wonderful experience. He is very professional, experienced and have deep knowledge about yoga. Sagar exudes a rate blend of warmth, expertise and genuine passion for yoga. I have started my *JOYFUL* journey of yoga with Sagar in August 2020. Being a working professional, usually health takes a back seat and it becomes very difficult to lead a healthy lifestyle. I had tried in the past all sorts of workout regime viz. gym, aerobics, dance etc. but the results were temporary in nature and sometimes became monotonous too. I had practised yoga for few months in past but to find a teacher who understands your concern and encourages you to become your better self is very rare. Sagar is a perfect mix of an excellent teacher as well as motivator. He will guide you throughout the session without any judgements and trust me the 1 hour workout will not worn you out like gym n all rather you will feel energized throughout the day. He will undergo into difficult poses with the ease which I never thought of attempting. With a very little experience of one month with him, I have seen positive changes within myself; physically as well as mentally. I will definitely recommend Sagar to everyone who wants to manage work-life balance with healthy choice. I am grateful to Sagar for rejuvenating my days with positive energy.
