About Jennifer
I did my undergraduate and graduate degree at Florida State University in Tallahassee, after which I spent a year in Normandy teaching English in a French middle school. After that, I came back to the US, and started on my PhD in Comparative Literature at Indiana University. I've also taught French at summer camps, at refugee housing, and obviously, private tutoring! Tutoring is by far my favorite, as I can tailor it to a student's interests.

My focus is on making language learning fun - you want to do things that you enjoy, so let's make learning French one of them! I let my lessons be dictated by student interests - if you like soccer, we'll watch a soccer match with French commentary, if you like art, we'll go on a virtual museum tour, etc. I specialize in beginners, and love working with people who think they are "no good at languages". I can teach any level, but most of my experience comes from teaching at the collegiate level.
