About Shahriyar
My name is Shahriyar; I know it is a bit different to pronounce, so feel free to call me Shah! I am 30 years old, and currently, I am living in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I am doing a Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering, and so far, I have published around 30 scientific articles in high-quality international journals. I do love teaching and mentoring; in fact, this is why I want to be a professor in the future.

Hi,
I am currently doing a Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Guelph, ON. I am an expert in math and have even published several scientific articles. I have been teaching math over the last decade and have a great tutoring experience. I usually adopt the Socratic approach when teaching; using this approach, the students are directly involved from understanding the problem to the final solution. Then, I try to explain things more and talk about the applications so that students become more interested. Next, I usually ask students to search for some information about the problem and look for relevant topics. Finally, I ask them to solve a problem close to their own problem so that I can make sure they understood all the things I have taught.
