About Mackenzie
Kia ora, I'm Mackenzie
I love math, and helping others to see why they can too. I'll help you to take big concepts and break them down into bite-sized chunks, using those tools to grow understanding. I see math like a toolbox, where a saw and a hammer can be used to do a lot, once you know how to use them properly. I'm here to help you get more tools in your toolbox, and help you to use them well.

I work 1-1 with students who need extra support, or extension, in Mathematics. I work alongside what they are learning in school, taking time to slow down and develop the concepts to build their toolbox to develop understanding. Sessions are generally for 1 hour, though can do up to 1.5 hours.
I have a degree in Mathematics, and am happy to tutor students from year 5 upwards.
