I excel in one-on-one instruction and really breaking a subject down. My teaching style is attacking a problem and building understanding off of the question given. In a typical lesson I have students try questions on their own, questioning them on what they think they should do next. When you ask a question, expect this response “What do you think you should do?” This is a vital question in seeing where a student is and gives an opportunity for the student to build their self-confidence.
I have experience teaching most high school math classes and my lessons will be tailored for these kinds of classes.
